I am not an expert in the publishing world. The aim of the group is to gather together authors/writers/publishers to glean from one another.

I am aware that there are many websites already devoted to helping authors. I encourage you to check out other websites which are there to help you on your journey through publishing.

It is good to see what authors across the world are doing to publish and promote their books. The great ideas they have, are not always possible to achieve in every country. Saying this we can glean from those overseas and hopefully vice versa.

I hope this website brings encouragement and information to authors everywhere as you embark an exciting journey into the world of writing and promoting your books.

Alison Hill has formed this website for the benefit of authors everywhere. She is the author of two books; To Live is Christ and A Little Piece of Heaven.

After having my first book published through a more traditional publishing house, I decided to self publish my second book. Throughout this time of writing, publishing and marketing my books, I realised that many authors (including myself), enter the world of publishing with little or no knowledge of the publishing industry. This led me to set up a Facebook page for authors; joining with those who can provide invaluable information to help and encourage those on the journey to publishing as well as those who have published but are asking, "What next?"

The content on this page is limited because it will only cover aspects of the publishing and marketing industry. It will be correct to the best of my knowledge at the time of writing. For more up to the minute information on each of the topics mentioned the reader must check the relevant websites. If any-one reading this finds more up to date information, please contact me via the above contact link and I will update relevant and correct information as soon as possible. Some of the information on these pages will simply be from personal experience, so it is important that the reader considers each step they take in the process to publishing their book.
